Founded in 2012, Meow was created to address the lack of female representation in the skateboarding world. Lisa Whitaker, the founder, became frustrated with seeing skilled female skaters face challenges in securing sponsorships, so she decided to initiate change herself. Meow Skateboards aims to be a community alongside its brand identity, and it proudly features a thriving all-female skateboarding team today.
