Initially, consider the width of your stance, which pertains to the space between your feet. Finding a balance that's not excessively wide or narrow is crucial. Although board manufacturers offer reference points, these are not custom-made for you. Our advice will prove invaluable!
Determining Your Snowboard Bindings Stance Width
To start measuring, you can choose from three popular methods:
- A) Measure the width of your shoulders and apply this to the distance between bindings.
- B) Calculate the distance from the soles of your feet to the top of your knees.
- C) Leap off a chair and measure the gap between your feet upon landing.
Next, you need to decide on the appropriate angle for your bindings. This is a flexible process that adapts as your skills develop and your riding style transforms.
