Lakai Shoes represents a dedicated brand of skateboarding footwear that emerged from the vision of professional skateboarders, Mike Caroll and Rick Howard. In 1999, Mike and Rick recognised the issue of inferior skateboard shoes and decided to tackle it head-on. Their aim was to equip top skateboarders with superior skate shoes, a vision that led to the creation of Lakai Limited Footwear.

Lakai skate shoes prioritise both style and performance in their design. Every pair comes equipped with durable, flexible soles and a midsole that absorbs shock effectively. Throughout the years, Lakai footwear has undergone rigorous testing by numerous professional riders such as Tony Hawk, Vincent Alvarez, and Stevie Perez, to mention a few. These professionals are all members of the Crailtap family, which also includes the renowned brands Girl Skateboards and Chocolate Skateboards.

Since it was founded, Lakai has earned significant recognition within the skateboarding community, and with persistent passion and progress, Mike and Rick have ample reason to be exceptionally proud.
