Purchasing Scooter Grips
Grips are installed on your bar. Similar to a bicycle, ensuring you have complete control over your bar is crucial. There are many models available, crafted from various materials. It ultimately comes down to personal preference which you choose.
Notice: The internal diameter of all grips is identical, so they can be fitted on all bars unless it is specifically mentioned otherwise.

Fitting Scooter Grips
Attaching grips can be challenging, so here are a few tips:
- Apply a spritz of liquid, like window cleaner or hairspray, into the grip and on the bar. Allow it to dry!
- Utilise an air compressor to form an air pocket around the grip, enabling it to slide on easily.
- If difficulties persist, seek assistance from your local bicycle mechanic, who can usually resolve the issue promptly.
Pro Scooter Grips Tips and Advice:
- Grips are designed to be replaced when they become worn.
- Grips that are exceptionally soft tend to wear out more swiftly, necessitating more frequent replacements than other types.
- To remove grips from the bar or adjust them to the correct length, scissors can be used.
- Bar ends, which are the separate components you insert into the bar, do not fit Aluminium bars due to their thickness. Nonetheless, creating a cut in the bar end allows it to fit an aluminium bar.
