Attaching the Brake on Roxa Comp
When purchasing a Roxa Comp, a brake pad is provided and can be attached easily.
Essential tools: 2 hex tools or skate-tool.
The brake pad is fitted within the brake housing. Be aware of the unique bolt required for the brake.
Step 1
Using a hex tool placed on each side of the wheel, remove the old bolt and axle.
Remove the current axle and bolt with two hex tools.
Step 2
Push the brake housing over the rear wheel. Ensure the pin on the back of the skate aligns with the top part of the brake housing.
The brake housing is positioned over the rear wheel by pushing it.
Step 3
The new brake bolt is longer than the previous one. Attach this bolt alongside the axle.
Utilise the new, extended bolt.
Step 4
Secure the axle along with the longer bolt. Ensure it is tightly fastened (but not so tight that it prevents the wheel from moving). Retain the old bolt for future use if you opt to skate without the brake.
