Adhere to these straightforward steps to attach handlebars to a BMX:

Remove the faceplate of the stem using an Allen key.
Position the handlebar within the stem, ensuring the knurled portion is precisely in the middle of the stem.
Secure the stem by enclosing it around the handlebars. Initially, use your fingers to fasten the bolts softly.
Utilise an Allen key to fully tighten each bolt. Make certain to tighten the bolts gradually in a crisscross pattern to maintain uniform tension on all four bolts.
Prior to fully fastening the bolts, inspect the space between the stem and the stem faceplate. The space should be consistent across the stem. If so, proceed to tighten the bolts completely, adhering to the crisscross pattern.
