Steps to Attach Snowboard Bindings
Before you hit the slopes with your snowboard, it’s essential to ensure your bindings are properly attached. This concise guide will lead you through the process of fitting snowboard bindings onto your board. It's a straightforward task, provided you have your equipment and a Phillips screwdriver ready. Keep in mind that binding systems vary with different models; the video covers what is commonly known as the traditional or classic system, where bindings are secured onto the board with screws:
- Position the binding atop your board, ensuring the buckles are outward-facing, and open it.
- Lift the bottom rubber pad to expose the mounting section.
- Insert the mounting disc within the binding.
- An arrow on the binding indicates the current angle.
- Rotate the disc to your preferred angle and push it down.
- Align the binding using the markings on the board for the recommended placement.
- With a large Phillips head screwdriver, secure the screws in a diagonal pattern.
- Close the bindings and repeat the process for the second binding.
Your bindings are now attached!
