Impulse 104 Backcountry Skis

The Black Diamond Impulse 104 are crafted to be the perfect option for advanced riders. The cores of these skis are constructed from wood, fibreglass, and poplar. Poplar wood provides the skis with a playful yet stable character.

With a profile featuring rocker at both the tip and tail, they facilitate easier turns in dense snow. The radius for this ski model ranges from 17 to 19 m, depending on the selected length. Choosing skis with a medium radius between 15-18 m delivers excellent turn initiation and decent control at high speeds. Nevertheless, with radius sizes exceeding 18 m, you achieve long turns and outstanding control at high speeds.
