"All components are lighter, easier to use, and more compact than my equipment from 8 years ago. I'm upgrading from the Tracks DTS to the Tracker 4. The interface is familiar, yet updated. Very simplistic and intuitive function. It lacks bells and whistles of models such as the Barryvox and Ortovox, but you cannot deny the quick signal acquisition and fast gridding. The shovel is lightweight and easy to use. The blade is on the small side for my preference, however a smaller blade means you physically can't move as much snow so you don't tire as easily. I enjoy the deployment and large numbers of the probe. All in all, if you need an upgrade or a starter set for Avy gear, this is a fantastic package, highly recommended." | |
