Avalanche Beacon

Avalanche Shovel

An avalanche shovel is employed for excavating skiers. They are often crafted with detachable handles, allowing them to fit snugly in a backpack.

Airbag Packs

An additional safety apparatus that proves to be highly beneficial is the airbag pack. Carried as a backpack, it can be triggered by pulling a handle to rapidly inflate the airbag using compressed air or a fan. The added volume aids in keeping the skier atop the moving snow and avalanche debris, reducing the likelihood of burial.
