Description

Taking good care of our planet is a cause we can all rally around and agree is worth our effort. So why not commit a bit more of yourself while you are applying an Optiwax Glide tape strip to your skis?

Optiwax's Eco range of glide tape is designed to minimise its ecological footprint while maximising its effect on your skis. This glide tape should be applied to both the top and bottom surfaces of your skis, enabling them to pass effortlessly across the snow. Additionally, this feature will assist in maintaining dryness and preventing ice accumulation.

Both the paper component of the tape and the box it is packaged in are made from recycled paper. The wax employed in this tape is a non-fluoro biodegradable material, ensuring optimum glide in diverse conditions. With a functional temperature range from +5°C down to minus 20°C, it provides excellent versatility across varied conditions.

The regular variant has a width of 60mm, making it suitable for most cross-country skis. The application is quick and straightforward, allowing you more time for skiing. Simply apply the tape using heat and then finish with brushing.

"I took Optiwax Glide Tape to rewax my xc skin skis whilst on holiday. Less risk of contaminating skins with wax and no mess from scraping. Iron on and brush off. Very easy to use and great glide!"

"Easy to use and lasts well. Sometimes uneven when applied so I give it a quick iron once the paper is removed to smooth out and make brushing easier."
