The Cortex V2 by Éclat offers more slack than the majority of hubs - slightly less than 1/4 crank worth of slack. Engineered with robustness at its core, it perfectly caters to all robust riding styles - especially if you are interested in fakie tricks.

Designed and refined through extensive testing

Prior to assembling the Cortex, the team at Éclat evaluated every issue they encountered with earlier freecoaster models and addressed these in developing the Cortex hub.

The V2 Cortex excels in executing crank flips while preserving the same degree of slack. Some of the Éclat team riders have tested the Cortex Hub for over two years to ensure its superior performance and they continue to use it today.

Notice: Comes with small spacers, allowing you to easily adjust the level of slack by adding them behind the clutch.
