Description
These telemark bindings, the NTN Freeride, provide robust power and are ideal for resort skiing and freeride adventures off-piste.
The brake arms/stoppers are 110mm wide. Separately, stoppers with widths of 95mm or 125mm can be purchased.
A simple step-in and step-out binding featuring modes for both downhill skiing and uphill walking—with your heels free at all times, of course.
The NTN Freeride represents the more durable version of Rottefella's telemark bindings. These bindings ensure substantial stability, quick responsiveness, and thus excellent ski control. They are equipped with a 50mm heel lift position.
Compatibility:
These bindings are exclusively compatible with NTN (New Telemark Norm) telemark boots from the brands Crispi, Scarpa, and Scott.
Flexibility (Powertubes with alternative flexibility can be purchased separately):
- The small version comes with a soft (green) powertube providing a gentle flex.
- The large version comes with a medium (blue) powertube providing a more moderate flex.
Rottefella advises green powertubes for small boots <26.5 mondopoint and blue powertubes for large boots >26.5 mondopoint.
Sizes:
- The Small fits boot sizes 22.0 - 26.0 Mondopoint from Scarpa and Crispi and boot sizes 22.0 - 25.5 Mondopoint from Garmont and Scott.
- The Large fits boot sizes 26.0 Mondopoint and above from Garmont and Scott, and boot sizes 26.5 Mondopoint and above from Scarpa and Crispi.
Note: These bindings lack a traditional and ISO-certified heel and toe release mechanism. However, Rottefella has implemented a release function. We adhere to Rottefella's guidelines when mounting and adjusting the release mechanism of the bindings.

"Excellent down hill telly binding. Well suited for aggressive skiers. Great for carving in natural or groomed trails. Quick response, so grant in moguls and pretty much anything the mountain throws at you. Very robust (had mine 10 years, full seasons). Great if you have more than one pair of skis, because very easily switchable form on pair of sticks to the next. I would not recommend for back country and ascension because too heavy. Awesome free ride binding. Won,t come off easily of you land a fall." | |
