Twin Skin Race Mohair Skins

Replacement skins for Twin Skin Fischer cross country skis crafted from 100% mohair.

41cm for ski length: 182cm, 187cm and 192cm

45cm for ski length: 197cm, 202cm and 207cm

Fischer Twin Skin Race Mohair Skins are easy to replace:

1) To detach the old skins, gently warm them using a hairdryer or iron

2) Following that, start from the rear end, lift and carefully remove the old skin with a sharp tool

3) Clean the skin channel and remove any remaining adhesive residue

4) Peel off approximately 5cm of the protective film from the front of the new skin

5) Ensure the hairs are correctly aligned: when you run your finger over them from the front to the rear, there should be no resistance

6) Position the skin in the groove at the front end and press it down with your finger

7) Then, press the skin down into the groove working from front to rear. As you proceed, remove the film from front to rear with one hand and simultaneously press down the skin with the other hand in the same direction, ensuring not to stretch the skin, as it should maintain its original length and fit snugly in the groove.

Lastly, go over the skin several times with your hand, press it down and ensure it is lying flat without any unevenness. Should you encounter any bumps, press them down to eliminate them.
