Sentinel SCS Clamp

From the original creators of the revolutionary Standard Compression System (SCS) comes an innovative take on this exceptional compression type. Proto have redesigned the SCS, resulting in the Sentinel. It offers a robust, no-nonsense approach to pro scooter clamps.

The Sentinel represents 8 years of working with SCS, featuring numerous enhancements over previous versions. The primary focus has been to better support the taller bars that are currently in vogue. This improvement is achieved through a series of upgrades. The area supporting the bar measures a full 2 inches, providing a 30% enhancement in stability compared to its predecessors.

Proto chose to utilise 8mm bolts with 6mm heads for the clamp bolts. They employ an offset slit which offers more receiving thread, thus further reinforcing the strong and durable connection.

Lastly, Proto have included a slotted thread for access to the spreader bolt. This innovation removes the necessity for using the "penny"-trick when tightening SCS compression systems.
