The boot is exceptionally soft with even softer padding to guarantee a comfortable fit. It is crafted from a composite material that is easy to maintain and resistant to scratching. It has a low cut for optimum manoeuvrability.

The Shari 3.0 plate on these Ruby skates combines nylon and fibreglass, both highly resistant to wear, durable, and lightweight. It can be mounted to most Chaya boots using the Dual Centre Mounting, which also allows you to angle the boot to your specific riding style atop the plate. The Power toe system provides more power, speed, and control, maintaining slight pre-tension in your muscles for quicker reactions.

The Ruby does not employ the DCM mounting system in this setup. It is mounted with a traditional 4 bolt configuration.

The trucks are constructed from aluminium and feature a 20º angle.

The Octo Paseo wheels on the Ruby Soft have a 78A durometer and a design intended to give beginners an easy-to-skate wheel suitable for various surface types. Be aware that if you plan to use these skates solely for indoor derby, harder wheels might be preferable for this specific use.

The Cherry Toe stopper enhances control and manoeuvrability. The semi-soft Jelly Interlock bushings balance comfort and control. The Wicked ABEC7 bearings ensure effortless roll speed.
