Heat Moulding Instructions
1. Boil water (approximately 3 cups per boot is required).
2. While waiting for the water to heat, roll down the cuffs of your Solite boots and place them in a sink.
3. Wear your Solite Heat Booster socks if you intend to use them inside your boots.
4. Once the water is at a rolling boil, carefully pour it into your Solite boots (in the sink), filling each slightly below the seam where the neoprene upper connects to the sole. Refer to the photo.
5. Allow 5 minutes for the boiling water to soften the sole material.
6. After 5 minutes, cautiously pour out the hot water from each Solite boot individually and swiftly rinse the inside with cold water to reduce surface temperature and prevent burns. Test with your hand to see if it is comfortably warm enough for your foot.
7. Insert your foot into the Solite boot while wearing the Heat Booster sock if you plan to use the socks regularly. Ensure your big toe fits comfortably in the toe cavity and your heel rests correctly in the heel pocket.
8. Repeat Steps 6 and 7 for the other boot.
9. If applicable, secure the boot ankle straps.
10. Spend 10-15 minutes walking around in your Solite boots to let them mould comfortably to your feet as they cool.
11. Once your Solite Boots reach room temperature, the moulding process is complete.
12. If you are dissatisfied with the fit, you can remould your Solite boots by repeating these steps. Your Solite boots should feel entirely comfortable, almost as if they are an extension of your foot.
