- We perform only standard edge sharpening.
"The manufacturers supply ice skates with a basic sharpening, allowing the blade to be used for skating. Regrettably, this sharpening is not very well done and falls short of freshly sharpened ice skates" (by Kenwin, Ice skate expert at SkatePro)
Ice skate sharpening is a service, and the usual return rights do not apply to the sharpening. If you purchase skates along with sharpening and return the skates, you may still exercise your return rights on the skates. Note that the quality of the sharpening is also influenced by the quality of the ice skates themselves. Therefore, a less expensive skate will never be as sharp and well-finished as a pricier ice skate.
The stated price is for sharpening a pair of skates.
