Nordic XC Trainer Off Road Skates

SHELL
The shell has been crafted with an emphasis on strength and support. Created from a unique composite, it is remarkably stiff due to the inclusion of 25% fibreglass into the material. It incorporates a 165mm lengthy mounting distance that allows the skater to adjust the frame positions laterally to discover the ideal skating stance.

PADDING
This skate includes a distinctive three-layer padding system: firmer foam on the exterior, softer foam internally, and an additional 3-D latex foam around the ankle region for an optimal ankle and heel appearance to enhance support with each movement. Beneath the lining, we've incorporated soft sponge foam to provide additional comfort and reinforcement. Externally, the padding is maintained in shape with a specialised heat mouldable chemical sheet.

LACING
Micro mesh material combined with high-quality PU upper material is utilised in this model. Powerslide has implemented a standard lacing method using plastic loops for these skates. The extra 45° powerstrap keeps the heel securely in place. Exceptional stitching quality and fine detailing, along with a rear carry strap, complete this fantastic skate.

FRAME
Constructed from a two-piece system, the frame features two individual aluminium 3-D stamped sidewalls joined by a robust and solid mounting block. It is typically mounted with a 165mm measurement, accommodating a variety of fitness skates available on the market.

TYRES & BEARINGS
The 6 ¼” air tyres are manufactured by Kenda – a reputable name in tyre production. They are equipped with a durable 5-spoke rim. The opening around the valve is protected by rim tape, a common feature in bicycle tyres. Tyres are inflatable up to a maximum of 6.3 bar / 90 psi.

150mm Super High Rebound PU wheels are available separately for those skaters who prefer skating predominantly on asphalted roads and seek greater speed.

BRAKE
The Powerslide calf brake offers extensive adjustability to cater to individual preferences and skating proficiencies, delivering a secure sensation and optimal braking performance. The skater can adjust the brake pad in all directions and even alter its angle. The height adjustment feature is ideal for attaining a personal preferred braking posture, whether with a straighter or more angled leg. The pad is easily replaceable if it becomes worn. The skate is equipped with only one braking system.
